3… 2… 1… Blast Off!
Announcing our 2027 Day Camp Theme: Space Adventure!
July 12-16,2027
Welcome to
Issaquah Youth Day Camp
Hosted at beautiful Royal Arch Park, our camp brings together youth from across the community for an unforgettable week of themed crafts and activities for campers. Our camp is proudly led by Program Aides (PAs), older scouts in grades 7 through 12, who serve as mentors, leaders, and role models for our campers.
The Camper Experience
Open to campers entering grades 1–6 in the fall, our camp blends classic outdoor traditions with hands-on creativity and new friendships. Here is what your camper can look forward to each day:
Enriching Daily Activities:
Campers will explore hands-on STEM projects, creative art activities, and classic Girl Scout traditions
Grade-Level Units:
Campers (grades 1–6) are grouped into units by grade level, making it easy to bond with peers their own age.
Dedicated PA Leadership:
Each unit is led by a dedicated team of Program Aides (PAs) who guide them through every activity, craft, and camp tradition throughout the week.
All-Camp Lunch:
Each day features a group lunch where campers from all units gather, mix, mingle, and make new friends across the camp.
The Program Aide (PA) Experience
Step into leadership and make a lasting impact on younger campers! Our Program Aide (PA) experience offers older scouts, entering grades 7-12 in the fall, a hands-on opportunity to grow as leaders, mentors, and teammates.
Spring & Summer Training: Planning sessions take place between March and July to equip PAs with essential leadership, activity planning, and safety skills. (Note: New PAs will attend an additional introductory training session before camp planning officially begins.)
Teamwork in Action: Collaborate with fellow PAs to design, organize, and lead daily crafts, games, and traditions for your camper unit.
Real-World Leadership Growth: Build valuable, transferable life skills in public speaking, organization, project management, and peer facilitation.
Exclusive PA Overnight Campout: Celebrate your hard work, unwind, and bond with your leadership team during a special overnight campout experience!
